    [ES] El proyecto consiste en dotar de un sistema automático de seguimiento solar a una instalación fotovoltaica de baja potencia. El sistema se implementará sobre la instalación real dotándola de un movimiento automático a través de dos ejes. Con ello se consigue que los paneles solares estén en todo momento encarados hacia el sol. Para ello se utilizará un Arduino Mega como plataforma de desarrollo, primando su bajo coste y fiabilidad. Se integrará un sistema de monitorización de la producción, un control automático y manual y un sistema de seguridad frente a las ráfagas del viento. En el proyecto encontraremos tanto la caracterización de los sensores y actuadores cómo la programación del Arduino, el montaje del sistema, su puesta en marcha y las pruebas de funcionamiento. Con todo ello conseguiremos una instalación mucho más eficiente y productiva a la vez que segura y fiable. [EN] The project consists of providing an automatic solar tracking system to a low-power photovoltaic installation. The system will be implemented on the real installation, giving it an automatic movement through two axes. This achieves that the solar panels are at all times facing the sun. For this purpose, an Arduino Mega will be used as a development platform, giving priority to its low cost and reliability. It will integrate a production monitoring system, an automatic and manual control and a security system against wind gusts. In the project we will find both the characterization of the sensors and actuators and the programming of the Arduino, the assembly of the system, its start-up and the functioning tests. With all this we will achieve a much more efficient and productive installation while being safe and reliable.

    Authors: Peñalver Carvajal, Miguel Jesús;

    El problema de la desertificación en España está a la orden del día y la situación empeora progresivamente. Por ello nos hacemos la siguiente pregunta: ¿cómo podemos aprovechar mejor los recursos hídricos en un país donde una gran parte de la superficie se dedica a la agricultura? Para dar respuesta a esta pregunta presentamos un sistema de riego automático, destinado para su utilización tanto en hogares como en agricultura, y que permite el cálculo automático de los tiempos de riego gracias a la observación de parámetros ambientales como la temperatura, la humedad y precipitaciones, así como la época del año y configurando manualmente el tipo de árbol regado. Complementamos este proyecto con un sistema de control para una depuradora de piscina empleando el mismo código, demostrando la modularidad y flexibilidad de uso. Con este sistema se ha reducido el consumo de agua en los meses de verano entre un 30 % y un 50 %, además de un aumento en la frecuencia de riego y una consecuente mejora en los cultivos. El software empleado para este cometido es de código abierto, Home Assistant y ESPHome, líderes en el sector de la automatización del hogar y proporcionan una interfaz amigable e intuitiva. La implicación en el futuro del proyecto puede ser muy amplia, pues proporciona un sistema automático y aplicable tanto a nivel profesional como para pequeños hogares y jardines.

    Authors: Fernández-Reyes, Rogelio;

    El reconocimiento de la intensidad y del origen humano del cambio climático ha evolucionado hacia un amplio consenso científico. Sin embargo, en los medios de comunicación prevalece cierta confusión: la imagen que se presenta en numerosas ocasiones es que el debate científico aún no ha llegado a un consenso. Tres de los motivos pueden ser: a) la desproporción que resulta al otorgar el mismo peso a todas las fuentes informativas; b) la tendencia a valorar el conflicto; y, sobre todo, c) la presencia de grupos con intereses. Percibimos que la demarcación ideológica tiene un especial peso en la percepción científica que muestran los medios. En el presente artículo abordamos cómo editoriales de prensa española, de distintas ideologías políticas, emiten un discurso polifónico en torno a este reto ambiental, cuestionando o validando los resultados científicos. Los discursos mediáticos promueven campos de acción o de inacción. El resultado del cuestionamiento científico del cambio climático sostiene el status quo y frena el cambio social, político, económico e individual hacia una nueva cultura de la sostenibilidad; por el contrario, el resultado del reconocimiento científico del cambio climático incita a la necesidad de dicho cambio. Nos preguntamos: el reconocimiento mediático del cambio climático, ¿favorece la resolución del cambio climático? The recognition of intensity and the human origin of climate change has evolved into a broad scientific consensus. However, in the media prevails some confusion: the image that appears repeatedly is that the scientific debate has not yet reached a consensus. Three of the reasons can to be: a) the disproportion is to give equal weight to all sources of information; b) the tendency to assess the conflict; and, above all, c) the presence of interest groups. We note that the ideological demarcation has a special weight in the scientific perception portrayed in the media. In this article we examine how the Spanish newspaper editorials from different political ideologies, they emit a polyphonic discourse on this environmental challenge, questioning or validating scientific results. Promote media discourse fields of action or inaction. The result of climate change scientific inquiry holds the status quo and impedes the social, political, economic and individual to a new culture of sustainability, on the contrary, the result of scientific recognition of climate change prompts the need for such change. We ask ourselves, media recognition of climate change, favors the resolution of climate change?

    Authors: Puchades Valencia, José Luis;

    [ES] El presente TFM se centra en la propuesta de mejora energética en una vivienda unifamiliar de nueva planta, situada en el municipio de Sedaví, en Valencia. Se ha considerado de interés aplicar el estándar Passivhaus. Para esto se ha procurado el análisis de diferentes propuestas optando por la más eficiente desde el punto del ahorro energético, como desde el punto de vista económico, buscando la que sea más ventajosa, mediante estudios de soleamiento y de espectros de sombras, con el fin de maximizar la luz natural en los meses de menos temperatura, así como proteger frente a los calentamientos excesivos a través de la envolvente y huecos en los meses con mayor incidencia solar. Se tendrán en cuenta además las implicaciones constructivas de la solución adoptada, así como el compromiso del usuario final de utilizar la casa Passivhaus de la forma correcta, con el fin de maximizar las ventajas que se pretenden obtener con la hipótesis final propuesta. Finalmente se pasará el informe al despacho de arquitectura, para buscar la viabilidad de conseguir estas mejoras energéticas, aportando además de los presupuestos, las estimaciones de ahorro que supondría el cambio que se propone. Para el estudio se han empleado las herramientas de cálculo por simulación Ecotec y Calener Vyp, obteniendo previamente a estos, valores que para el clima, orientación, etc., han ayudado a entender el edificio. Posteriormente se han procurado las diferentes propuestas estudiadas, así como las comparativas energéticas finales. En cuanto a los presupuestos, se ha empleado como herramienta de ayuda Arquímedes, y para todas las tablas y documentos el paquete de Office. [EN] This bachelor's thesis proposal focuses on energy savings improvement in a single family house, located in the municipality of Sedaví, in the province of Valencia. Various solutions have been considered to finally chosen the Passivhaus standard. For this analysis several proposals have been considered, opting for the most efficient in terms of energy savings, and from an economic point of view. It has been sought the most advantageous solution, through studies of sunlight and shadows spectrum, in order to maximize the natural light in the months of lower temperature and protect the house against excessive heating through the envelope or the hollows in the wall during the months with the highest solar incidence. Plus, the constructive implications of the chosen solution will be taken into account, and the commitment of the end user to use the Passivhaus home the right way in order to maximize the benefits that can be obtained with the proposed solution. Finally the report is handed to the architectural firm, to ascertain the feasibility of achieving these energy improvements, providing, in addition to budgets, the estimates savings that the proposed change would represent. For the calculations in the study they have been used the calculus simulation software Ecotec and Calener Vyp, previously obtaining climate and orientation values that have helped to understand the building characteristics. Subsequently the various proposals under discussion have been procured, as the final energy comparison chart. As an aid for estimating the budget, it has been used the Archimedes software, and for all the charts and documents the Office suite.

    Authors: Moreno Jorge, Paula;

    [ES] El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) surge durante la realización de prácticas curriculares en empresa a través de la UPV. Dicha empresa pertenece al sector cosmético y produce distintos tipos de productos, que posteriormente son distribuidos por sus clientes en grandes superficies. Para la elaboración de los productos cosméticos es necesario que el agua tenga una determinada pureza. Para ello, la empresa dispone de diversos tratamientos y plantas de ósmosis inversa que permiten acondicionar el agua a los parámetros que se requieren. Actualmente, la empresa tiene como referencia la Norma ¿Farmacopea Europea de Agua Purificada¿. No obstante, para poder ampliar su fabricación con productos como los inyectables, deberían de cumplir la norma ¿Farmacopea Europea para Inyectables de Agua Altamente Purificada¿. En este caso, parámetros cómo la conductividad y las endotoxinas pasan a ser más restrictivos. Por ello, con el fin de cumplir los nuevos valores requeridos, se va a diseñar una modificación de la planta de ósmosis inversa existente. La planta actual consta de dos pasos de ósmosis inversa, el primero con 6 membranas y el segundo con 4, a través de los cuales se llega a reducir la conductividad del agua de 1200 μS/cm a 5 μS/cm. Para adaptar la calidad del agua tratada a la normativa de productos inyectables, se requiere que el sistema reduzca la conductividad del agua de red a 1.1 μS/cm. Por otra parte, para mejorar el rendimiento del sistema de tratamiento, la empresa se plantea también la reducción del caudal de rechazo para que no se deseche todo a desagüe y se pueda reutilizar, consiguiendo una mayor sostenibilidad en la gestión del agua en el proceso. En el presente TFG se estudiarán los dos objetivos planteados con ayuda de un programa de simulación que permitirá obtener las condiciones de operación de la planta modificada para seleccionar la configuración más adecuada. Adicionalmente, se realizará un presupuesto económico con el detalle de los costes asociados, los cuales ayudarán a la empresa a estudiar y decidir la viabilidad final de los cambios a realizar para ampliar el rango de productos en sus líneas de manufactura. Por todo lo anteriormente descrito, este trabajo aportará un diseño de ampliación para la actual planta de ósmosis inversa, con el fin de obtener un agua altamente purificada y disminuyendo el caudal de rechazo, aportando más líneas de negocio para la empresa y unas mejores políticas medioambientales gracias a un mejor aprovechamiento del agua. [EN] The degree final project developed while completing the internship in a company through the Polytechnic University of Valencia. This company belongs to the cosmetic sector and produces different types of products that lately are distributed by their own customers in large stores. The cosmetic products require a specific level of purity in water. For that purpose, a variety of treatment options and reverse osmosis plants are available in the company which allow to condition water to the required parameters. Nowadays, the company has as a reference the European Pharmacopoeia standard of purified water. However, in order to extend its production with some products like the injectable ones, they should conform the European Pharmacopoeia standard of highly purified water for injections. In this case, parameters such as conductivity and endotoxins become more restrictive. Thereupon, a modification of the existing reverse osmosis plant is going to be designed to comply the new required values. The existing plant consists of two reverse osmosis passes, the first pass with 6 membranes and the second one with 4, through which water conductivity is reduced from 1200 ¿S/cm to 5 ¿S/cm. A system reduction of 1.1 ¿S/cm tap water conductivity is required to adapt the quality of treated water to the injectable products legislation. On the other hand, to improve the performance of the treatment system, the company also contemplates reducing the flow rejection in order not to dispose all to the drainage system and to be reused in obtaining like this more water management sustainability in the process. In this final project, two goals set will be studied with the help of a simulation program which will allow to obtain the most suitable setting choice for the modified operation plant conditions. In addition, an economic budget will be carried out including associated costs that will help the company to study and decide the final feasibility of changes to be done in order to extend the range of products in their manufacturing lines. As described above, this work will provide an extension design for the present reverse osmosis plant with the aim of obtaining highly purified water and reducing the flow rejection, giving more business lines to the company and better environmental policies due to a better use of water.

    Authors: Sánchez Almodóvar, Esther; Gómez Trigueros, Isabel María; Olcina, Jorge;

    El actual contexto de emergencia climática ha dotado de mayor interés a la temática del cambio climático en la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO), aunque en general se generan confusiones conceptuales que deben ser resueltas ante la importancia social que han adquirido las cuestiones climáticas. Los objetivos de esta investigación, centrados en el alumnado de 3º y 4º de ESO de los centros educativos públicos de una localidad en la provincia de Alicante (Comunidad Valenciana, España), pretenden mostrar la percepción del alumnado sobre el cambio climático y los extremos atmosféricos, en función de la materia en la que se les ha impartido dichos contenidos; y analizar si el alumnado adquiere los conocimientos básicos sobre la temática al finalizar dicho ciclo. Para el cumplimiento de dichos objetivos se ha desarrollado un estudio no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional basado en encuestas, y transversal. La muestra se compone de 784 estudiantes encuestados durante el curso 2021-2022. Los resultados indican que la principal asignatura donde se desarrolla la enseñanza del cambio climático es Geografía e Historia. Consideran que el cambio climático es una amenaza para el ser humano y que la acción antrópica es la principal causa. El alumnado percibe un aumento de los fenómenos extremos, aspecto que es necesario matizar. Por tanto, se reivindica la necesidad de abordar está temática en 3º y 4º de ESO, debido a que este es uno de los grandes desafíos a los que se enfrenta la sociedad, y para el cual debemos formar al estudiantado dentro del marco de la Agenda 2030 y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). Within the current context of climate emergency, the topic of climate change has become more prominent in secondary education in Spain. However, in general, conceptual confusions arise which should be clarified due to the social importance of climate issues. The objectives of this study, focused on 3rd and 4th year students of ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) in state schools in a town in the province of Alicante (Region of Valencia, Spain), seek to reveal the perception of the students regarding climate change and extreme weather events, in accordance with the subject in which these contents are taught; and to analyse whether the students have acquired a basic knowledge of the topic at the end of their secondary education. In order to fulfil these objectives, a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional and survey-based correlational study has been conducted. The sample was made up of 784 students, surveyed during the academic year 2021-2022. The results indicate that the principal subject in which climate change is taught is Geography and History. The students consider that climate change is a threat to human beings and believe that anthropogenic action is the principal cause. They also perceive an increase in extreme weather events, although it is necessary to qualify this aspect. Therefore, this study defends the need to address this topic in the 3rd and 4th years of ESO, as it is one of the major challenges faced by society and one in which students should be educated within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Esta investigación es resultado de la obtención de una beca de formación de profesorado universitario (FPUA2019-54) por parte del Vicerrectorado de Investigación de la Universidad de Alicante. Este trabajo es el resultado de la investigación en curso del Proyecto Emergente GV/2021/077 "La brecha digital de género y el modelo TPACK en la formación del profesorado: análisis de la formación digital del profesorado" dirigido por Isabel María Gómez-Trigueros: Proyecto Emergente GV/2021/077.

    [ES] El objetivo del presente proyecto es el estudio eléctrico y de viabilidad de una instalación fotovoltaica con conexión a red para las instalaciones deportivas de un gimnasio ubicado a las afueras de Tomelloso, municipio de la provincia de Ciudad Real. El proyecto cuenta con cuatro documentos. La memoria, donde se encuentra la descripción de la instalación, cálculos justificativos y un estudio económico. El pliego de condiciones, presupuest o de la instalación y los planos de esta. En primer lugar, se dará una visión general de la actual situación que existe en España en cuanto a energía solar y más concretamente a la energía solar fotovoltaica. A continuación, se pasa al eje central del pro yecto, donde se realiza una estimación de las necesidades eléctricas del gimnasio en función de las distintas épocas del año y la afluencia de abonados a las instalaciones. A partir de esta estimación se ha realizado un dimensionado para la instalación, co n unos elementos actuales, eficientes y de precio ajustado. La instalación fotovoltaica contará con una potencia nominal de 20kW proporcionados por 4 series de 19 paneles cada una. Una vez dimensionada la instalación, se ha procedido a realizar los cálculo s pertinentes para obtener las protecciones adecuadas, la descripción de la estructura soporte de los módulos fotovoltaicos, que contará con protección antirrobo y también se hace un estudio económico de viabilidad . Finalmente, se realiza el pliego de cond iciones técnicas, el presupuesto donde se muestra una pequeña descripción de los materiales empleados y su precio y por último, los planos. [EN] The objective s of th is pro j ect are the electrical study and the v iability st udy of a grid - connected photovoltaic insta l lation fo r the sports facilities of a gym located in the Tomelloso’s outskirts, municipality of the province of Ciudad Real. The pro j ect has four documents : The first one is the memory, where t he description of th e installation, justificatory calculations and an economic study are found . The other documents are the tec h nical specifications, the b udget and the technical drawings . First, there is an overview of the current situation exist ing in Spain in terms of sol ar energy and more specifically photovoltaic solar energy. Next, the central axis of the project is addressed , where an estimate of the electrical needs of th e gym is made according to different seasons of the year and the influx of members to the faciliti es. From thi s estimate, a dimensioning has been made for the installation, with current, efficient and adjusted - price elements. The photovoltaic installation has a rated power of 20kW provided by 4 arrays of 19 panels. Once the installation has been dimens ioned, the pertinent calculations have been carried out to obtain the adequate protections . T he description of the support structure of the photovoltaic modules, which will include anti - theft protection , and an economic feasibility study are also made . Fin ally, the technical specification s , the Budget (including a small description of the materials used and their p rice) and the technical drawings are shown.

    El problema de la desertificación en España está a la orden del día y la situación empeora progresivamente. Por ello nos hacemos la siguiente pregunta: ¿cómo podemos aprovechar mejor los recursos hídricos en un país donde una gran parte de la superficie se dedica a la agricultura? Para dar respuesta a esta pregunta presentamos un sistema de riego automático, destinado para su utilización tanto en hogares como en agricultura, y que permite el cálculo automático de los tiempos de riego gracias a la observación de parámetros ambientales como la temperatura, la humedad y precipitaciones, así como la época del año y configurando manualmente el tipo de árbol regado. Complementamos este proyecto con un sistema de control para una depuradora de piscina empleando el mismo código, demostrando la modularidad y flexibilidad de uso. Con este sistema se ha reducido el consumo de agua en los meses de verano entre un 30 % y un 50 %, además de un aumento en la frecuencia de riego y una consecuente mejora en los cultivos. El software empleado para este cometido es de código abierto, Home Assistant y ESPHome, líderes en el sector de la automatización del hogar y proporcionan una interfaz amigable e intuitiva. La implicación en el futuro del proyecto puede ser muy amplia, pues proporciona un sistema automático y aplicable tanto a nivel profesional como para pequeños hogares y jardines.

    Authors: Fernández-Reyes, Rogelio;

    Authors: Puchades Valencia, José Luis;

    Authors: Moreno Jorge, Paula;
