It is shown that each class of transitions among members of the sextet spin--3/2 to sextet spin--1/2 baryons and that of the sextet spin--3/2 to spin--1/2 anti--triplet baryons is described by only one invariant function. We also estimate the widths of kinematically allowed transitions. Our results on decay widths are in good agreement with the existing experimental data, as well as predictions of other nonperturbative approaches. 17 Pages, 4 Figures and 5 Tables

We revisit the regular black hole found by Hayward in $4-$dimensional static, spherically symmetric spacetime. To find a possible source for such a spacetime we resort to the non-linear electrodynamics in general relativity. It is found that a magnetic field within this context gives rise to the regular Hayward black hole. By employing such a regular black hole we construct a thin-shell wormhole for the case of various equations of state on the shell. We abbreviate a general equation of state by $p=\psi \left( \sigma \right) $ where $p$ is the surface pressure which is the function of the mass density ($\sigma $). In particular, a linear, logarithmic, Chaplygin, etc. forms of equations of state are considered. In each case we study the stability of the thin-shell against linear perturbations. We plot the stability regions by tuning the parameters of the theory. It is observed that the role of the Hayward parameter is to make the TSW more stable. Perturbations of the throat with small velocity condition is also studied. The matter of our TSWs, however, remains to be exotic. Comment: 7 pages 5 figures, extended version

The total branching fraction, its charmless component $(M_{p\bar p} <2.85 $ $ GeV/c^{2})$ and the branching fractions via the resonant $c\bar c$ states $\eta_{c}(1S)$ and $\psi(2S)$ relative to the decay via a $J/\psi$ intermediate state are \begin{align*} \frac{{\mathcal B}(B^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})_{total}}{{\mathcal B}(B^{+} \to J/\psi K^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})}=& \, 4.91 \pm 0.19 \, {(\rm stat)} \pm 0.14 \, {(\rm syst)},\\ \frac{{\mathcal B}(B^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})_{M_{p\bar p} <2.85 {GeV/}c^{2}}}{{\mathcal B}(B^{+} \to J/\psi K^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})}=& \, 2.02 \pm 0.10 \, {(\rm stat)}\pm 0.08 \, {(\rm syst)},\\ \frac{{\mathcal B} (B^{+} \to \eta_{c}(1S) K^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})}{{\mathcal B}(B^{+} \to J/\psi K^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})} = & \, 0.578 \pm 0.035 \, {(\rm stat)} \pm 0.027 \, {(\rm syst)},\\ \frac{{\mathcal B} (B^{+} \to \psi(2S) K^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})}{{\mathcal B}(B^{+} \to J/\psi K^{+} \to p \bar p K^{+})}=& \, 0.080 \pm 0.012 \, {(\rm stat)} \pm 0.009 \, {(\rm syst)}.\\ \end{align*} Upper limits on the $B^{+}$ branching fractions into the $\eta_{c}(2S)$ meson and into the charmonium-like states $X(3872)$ and $X(3915)$ are also obtained. Candidates are selected in the $X(3872) \to J/\psi \pi^+ \pi^-$ decay mode, and used to measure \begin{align*} \sigma(pp\to X(3872)+{\rm anything}) \, \mathcal{B}(X(3872) \to J/\psi&\pi^+\pi^-) = \\ & 4.7 \pm 1.1 \,{\rm (stat)} \pm 0.7 \,{\rm (syst)} {\rm nb} \,, \end{align*} where $\sigma(pp\to X(3872)+{\rm anything})$ is the inclusive production cross-section of $X(3872)$ mesons with rapidity in the range $2.5-4.5$ and transverse momentum in the range $5-20$ GeV/$c$. In addition the masses of both the $X(3872)$ and $\psi(2S)$ mesons, reconstructed in the $ J/\psi \pi^+ \pi^-$ final state, are measured to be \begin{eqnarray*} m_{X(3872)} &=& 3871.95 \pm 0.48 \,({\rm stat}) \pm 0.12 \,({\rm syst}){\rm MeV/}c^2 ~\mbox{and} \\ m_{\psi(2S)} &=& 3686.12\pm 0.06 \,({\rm stat}) \pm 0.10 \,({\rm syst}){\rm MeV/}c^2 \,. \end{eqnarray*} Using 34.7 pb-1 of data collected with the LHCb detector, the inclusive production of the X(3872) meson in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV is observed for the first time. The multiplicity and pseudorapidity distributions of inclusive photons have been measured at forward rapidities ( $2.3 < \eta < 3.9$ ) in proton–proton collisions at three center-of-mass energies, $\sqrt{s}$ $=$ 0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV using the ALICE detector. It is observed that the increase in the average photon multiplicity as a function of beam energy is compatible with both a logarithmic and a power-law dependence. The relative increase in average photon multiplicity produced in inelastic pp collisions at 2.76 and 7 TeV center-of-mass energies with respect to 0.9 TeV are 37.2 $\pm $ 0.3 % (stat) $\pm $ 8.8 % (sys) and 61.2 $\pm $ 0.3 % (stat) $\pm $ 7.6 % (sys), respectively. The photon multiplicity distributions for all center-of-mass energies are well described by negative binomial distributions. The multiplicity distributions are also presented in terms of KNO variables. The results are compared to model predictions, which are found in general to underestimate the data at large photon multiplicities, in particular at the highest center-of-mass energy. Limiting fragmentation behavior of photons has been explored with the data, but is not observed in the measured pseudorapidity range. The ratios of branching fractions ($\mathcal{B}$) are measured to be \begin{equation*} \begin{array}{lll} \frac{\mathcal{B}( B^+ \to \psi(2S) K^+)}{\mathcal{B}( B^+ \to J/\psi K^+ )} &=& 0.594 \pm 0.006 (stat) \pm 0.016 (syst) \pm 0.015\,(R_{\psi}), \\ \frac{\mathcal{B}( B^0 \to \psi(2S) K^{*0})}{\mathcal{B}( B^0 \to J/\psi K^{*0})} &=& 0.476 \pm 0.014 (stat) \pm 0.010 (syst) \pm 0.012\,(R_{\psi}), \\ \frac{\mathcal{B}^{0}_{s}( B^0_s \to \psi(2S)\phi)}{\mathcal{B}( B^0_s \to J/\psi\phi)} &=& 0.489 \pm 0.026 (stat) \pm 0.021 (syst) \pm 0.012\,(R_{\psi}), \end{array} \end{equation*} where the third uncertainty is from the ratio of the $\psi(2S)$ and $J/\psi$ branching fractions to $\mu\mu$. It is shown that each class of transitions among members of the sextet spin--3/2 to sextet spin--1/2 baryons and that of the sextet spin--3/2 to spin--1/2 anti--triplet baryons is described by only one invariant function. We also estimate the widths of kinematically allowed transitions. Our results on decay widths are in good agreement with the existing experimental data, as well as predictions of other nonperturbative approaches. 17 Pages, 4 Figures and 5 Tables

We revisit the regular black hole found by Hayward in $4-$dimensional static, spherically symmetric spacetime. To find a possible source for such a spacetime we resort to the non-linear electrodynamics in general relativity. It is found that a magnetic field within this context gives rise to the regular Hayward black hole. By employing such a regular black hole we construct a thin-shell wormhole for the case of various equations of state on the shell. We abbreviate a general equation of state by $p=\psi \left( \sigma \right) $ where $p$ is the surface pressure which is the function of the mass density ($\sigma $). In particular, a linear, logarithmic, Chaplygin, etc. forms of equations of state are considered. In each case we study the stability of the thin-shell against linear perturbations. We plot the stability regions by tuning the parameters of the theory. It is observed that the role of the Hayward parameter is to make the TSW more stable. Perturbations of the throat with small velocity condition is also studied. The matter of our TSWs, however, remains to be exotic. Comment: 7 pages 5 figures, extended version

Candidates are selected in the $X(3872) \to J/\psi \pi^+ \pi^-$ decay mode, and used to measure \begin{align*} \sigma(pp\to X(3872)+{\rm anything}) \, \mathcal{B}(X(3872) \to J/\psi&\pi^+\pi^-) = \\ & 4.7 \pm 1.1 \,{\rm (stat)} \pm 0.7 \,{\rm (syst)} {\rm nb} \,, \end{align*} where $\sigma(pp\to X(3872)+{\rm anything})$ is the inclusive production cross-section of $X(3872)$ mesons with rapidity in the range $2.5-4.5$ and transverse momentum in the range $5-20$ GeV/$c$. In addition the masses of both the $X(3872)$ and $\psi(2S)$ mesons, reconstructed in the $ J/\psi \pi^+ \pi^-$ final state, are measured to be \begin{eqnarray*} m_{X(3872)} &=& 3871.95 \pm 0.48 \,({\rm stat}) \pm 0.12 \,({\rm syst}){\rm MeV/}c^2 ~\mbox{and} \\ m_{\psi(2S)} &=& 3686.12\pm 0.06 \,({\rm stat}) \pm 0.10 \,({\rm syst}){\rm MeV/}c^2 \,. \end{eqnarray*} Using 34.7 pb-1 of data collected with the LHCb detector, the inclusive production of the X(3872) meson in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV is observed for the first time. Candidates are selected in the X(3872) -> J/psi pi+ pi- decay mode, and used to measure sigma(pp -> X(3872) + anything) B(X(3872)-> J/psi pi+ pi-) = 4.7 +- 1.1 (stat) +- 0.7 (syst), where sigma(pp -> X(3872) + anything) is the inclusive production cross-section of X(3872) mesons with rapidity in the range 2.5-4.5 and transverse momentum in the range 5-20 GeV/c. In addition the masses of both the X(3872) and psi(2S) mesons, reconstructed in the J/psi pi+ pi- final state, are measured to be m(X(3872)) = 3871.95 +- 0.48 (stat) +- 0.12 (syst) MeV/c2 and m(psi(2S)) = 3686.12 +- 0.06 (stat) +- 0.10 (syst) MeV/c2

The multiplicity and pseudorapidity distributions of inclusive photons have been measured at forward rapidities ( $2.3 < \eta < 3.9$ ) in proton–proton collisions at three center-of-mass energies, $\sqrt{s}$ $=$ 0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV using the ALICE detector. It is observed that the increase in the average photon multiplicity as a function of beam energy is compatible with both a logarithmic and a power-law dependence. The relative increase in average photon multiplicity produced in inelastic pp collisions at 2.76 and 7 TeV center-of-mass energies with respect to 0.9 TeV are 37.2 $\pm $ 0.3 % (stat) $\pm $ 8.8 % (sys) and 61.2 $\pm $ 0.3 % (stat) $\pm $ 7.6 % (sys), respectively. The photon multiplicity distributions for all center-of-mass energies are well described by negative binomial distributions. The multiplicity distributions are also presented in terms of KNO variables. The results are compared to model predictions, which are found in general to underestimate the data at large photon multiplicities, in particular at the highest center-of-mass energy. Limiting fragmentation behavior of photons has been explored with the data, but is not observed in the measured pseudorapidity range. The ratios of branching fractions ($\mathcal{B}$) are measured to be \begin{equation*} \begin{array}{lll} \frac{\mathcal{B}( B^+ \to \psi(2S) K^+)}{\mathcal{B}( B^+ \to J/\psi K^+ )} &=& 0.594 \pm 0.006 (stat) \pm 0.016 (syst) \pm 0.015\,(R_{\psi}), \\ \frac{\mathcal{B}( B^0 \to \psi(2S) K^{*0})}{\mathcal{B}( B^0 \to J/\psi K^{*0})} &=& 0.476 \pm 0.014 (stat) \pm 0.010 (syst) \pm 0.012\,(R_{\psi}), \\ \frac{\mathcal{B}^{0}_{s}( B^0_s \to \psi(2S)\phi)}{\mathcal{B}( B^0_s \to J/\psi\phi)} &=& 0.489 \pm 0.026 (stat) \pm 0.021 (syst) \pm 0.012\,(R_{\psi}), \end{array} \end{equation*} where the third uncertainty is from the ratio of the $\psi(2S)$ and $J/\psi$ branching fractions to $\mu\mu$. The relative rates of B-meson decays into $J/\psi$ and $\psi(2S)$ mesons are measured for the three decay modes in pp collisions recorded with the LHCb detector. The ratios of branching fractions ($\mathcal{B}$) are measured to be $\frac{\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to \psi(2S) K^+)}{\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to J/\psi K^+)} = 0.594 \pm 0.006 (stat) \pm 0.016 (syst) \pm 0.015 (R_{\psi})$, $\frac{\mathcal{B}(B^0 \to \psi(2S) K^{*0})}{\mathcal{B}(B^0 \to J/\psi K^{*0})} = 0.476 \pm 0.014 (stat) \pm 0.010 (syst) \pm 0.012\,(R_{\psi})$, $\frac{\mathcal{B}^{0}_{s}(B^0_s \to \psi(2S)\phi)}{\mathcal{B}(B^0_s \to J/\psi\phi)} = 0.489 \pm 0.026 (stat) \pm 0.021 (syst) \pm 0.012\,(R_{\psi})$ where the third uncertainty is from the ratio of the $\psi(2S)$ and $J/\psi$ branching fractions to $\mu\mu$.
